Leadership

Pastor Matt Bunn graduated from Southwest Baptist University in 1999 and received his Masters Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He’s married to his best friend, Vicki Bunn and has three boys – Andrew, Toby, Logan.  Matt has been in ministry for 28 years – most recently 17 years at Center Point Church in North Richland Hills, TX.
Matt’s desire is to equip God’s people to live out their God-given passion to build His Kingdom. His heart is to help people truly experience a life-giving relationship with Jesus – one that is practical in every day life. Matt enjoys hiking, playing cards and board games, watching sports with his boys, and laughing at Vicki’s jokes.

Seth Stelzer serves as our Worship Pastor and oversees administration. Seth served on our launch team and has worn numerous hats in the brief history of The Heights. Seth is originally from Neosho, MO but moved overseas to West Africa as his family served as missionaries. He graduated from Southwest Baptist University with a degree in Music and is now living in Bolivar with his wife Hunter, their two foster daughters, and dog, Maggie. Seth enjoys playing sports, working out, watching movies, and doing anything that has to do with football, especially with the Kansas City Chiefs. He is passionate about helping others worship God in every aspect of their lives and furthering the mission of The Heights Church.  

Mark serves as an associate pastor over students, hospitality, and Growth Track. He was born in the Philippines but raised on a cattle and chicken farm in Berryville, Arkansas. Mark graduated from Southwest Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in student ministry and a minor in Church Music. He has a deep passion to equip and teach students to spread the Gospel through discipleship and leadership development. Mark loves being outdoors, considers himself a techie of sorts, and loves playing music during his free time. Mark says he is blessed to be part of a team that is passionate about furthering the kingdom of God here in Bolivar.

Kim serves as our Events Director. Originally from Blue Springs, MO she now calls Bolivar home. She is married to Henry and they currently have one son, two dogs and a handful of chickens. She graduated from East Texas Baptist University with a degree in Interpersonal Communication. She has an incredible passion for all things organization, propelling people to do what God has called them to do and a genuine joy for life. Outside of the office she enjoys cooking and making up new recipes. She also loves to serve. Anything she can do to love others better fulfills her. Kim is honored to be a part of the Leadership Team at The Heights and a church member, too.

Linda has been happily married to her best friend, Mark, for 42 years. Linda originally hails from Pennsylvania but now resides in Missouri after moving from Texas. She is the proud mother of six grown children and has eight grandchildren scattered around the country. Linda's passion is working with children and sharing the love of God with them. She finds great joy in witnessing a child understand the meaning of living for the Lord. During her spare time, Linda enjoys gardening and crocheting.
