The Heights Church was birthed out of a passion to bring a life-giving church to Bolivar. Pastor Matt dreamed of creating a people and place where people were welcomed, no matter their background. It would be a people where individuals could grow and live out their potential. Pastor Matt, through research, found that Bolivar had a higher than national average of:
Expanding the Vision...
Pastor Matt and his family moved to Bolivar in June 2016 to assemble a team to launch The Heights Church at Bolivar High School. On January 22nd, 2017, the church launched and has had the joy of seeing lives changed. In September 2018, the church moved into its permanent facility. It's Matt's vision to be a church that helps people take next steps towards their potential in Christ. He is unapologetically passionate about reaching people far from Christ and helping them:

Where we are Headed...
God has called us to be church that makes a difference. Over the next several years, we are expanding our ministry into our community and Polk County. We are dreaming and laying the foundations for the creation of our children's Dream Center, foster care family ministry, a music school, and campus development into our surrounding communities. God has called us to the be the hands and feet of Jesus.
