Current Series: Built Different

“Built Different” is a sermon series about how God doesn’t promise a life without hardship—He promises a faith that can stand in the middle of it. Every struggle, every season of pressure, and every moment of uncertainty becomes part of how the Lord shapes and strengthens us from the inside out.

In this series, we’ll discover that God is not just helping us survive hard things—He is actively building us through them. When life tests our foundation, He is forming resilience, deepening our trust, and developing a faith that doesn’t break under pressure but grows stronger because of it. You are not being undone by what you’re going through—you are being built different.

In West Camp, kids will have their own space away from the teen campers to do their exciting activities, enjoy being kids with campers their age, and, most importantly, grow closer to Christ.

We will depart from The Heights at 8:30 AM 7/13 and return around 3:00 PM on 7/18.  The total price is $570. A deposit of $200 is required to save your child's spot and is due by 2/28/2026.  This deposit can be paid in monthly installments.

Student Summer Camp

Total Cost: $570

Student Life Missions Camp is July 27th-31st at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. We will make a trip to Orange Beach the Friday of that week. Make sure you are involved with all of our fundraiser! We never had a student who wanted to go to camp and couldn't afford to go! Registration deadline is Sunday March 15th!

What makes Student Life Mission Camp different? SERVING. Mission groups have a unique opportunity to connect all the fun of camp with meeting real needs in local communities. You’ll still experience Student Life Camp’s engaging worship, Life Group discipleship time, and biblical teaching while spending a portion of your day connecting and serving with our ministry partners. We’ll handle the logistics of your mission project. Just come ready to serve and have fun!

Dream Teamer of the Month

JObe Smith

This month, we’re celebrating a Dream Teamer, Jobe Smith, who is making a lasting impact by investing in the next generation and building meaningful relationships within our church community.

When asked what God has done in his life through serving, he shared how it has opened doors to deeper connection and spiritual growth. Serving on the Dream Team has allowed him to meet and walk alongside people who are intentionally seeking Jesus, creating strong, Christ-centered friendships that have been both encouraging and life-giving.

Jobe currently serve as a youth group leader for 9th–11th grade boys, pouring into students during a pivotal season of life. Week after week, he shows up with a heart to guide, support, and point these young men toward a growing relationship with Jesus.
His “why” is deeply personal. Reflecting on his own high school years, He remembers the guidance he wish he had—especially when it came to understanding the importance of a relationship with Christ.

That experience now fuels his passion to be present, intentional, and impactful in the lives of students who are walking a similar path. Through his faithfulness and heart to serve, he is  helping shape the future—one relationship at a time.
