5-Day Devotional: The Resurrection Changes Everything
Day 1: The Most Important Question
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:17
Teaching Point: Everything about Christianity hinges on the resurrection—if it didn’t happen, our faith is meaningless, but if it did, it changes everything.
Reflection Question: How confident are you that the resurrection really happened? Why?
Challenge: Write down one question you have about the resurrection and commit to exploring the answer this week.
Day 2: Jesus Really Died
Scripture: Mark 15:24–25
Teaching Point: Jesus’ death was real, public, and intentional—He willingly went to the cross out of love for you.
Reflection Question: What does it mean to you personally that Jesus chose to die for your sins?
Challenge: Take a moment today to thank Jesus specifically for what He endured on your behalf.
Day 3: It Is Finished
Scripture: John 19:30
Teaching Point: When Jesus said “It is finished,” He declared that the payment for sin was complete—nothing more is needed.
Reflection Question: Do you ever feel like you have to earn God’s love? What makes you feel that way?
Challenge: When you catch yourself trying to “earn” God’s approval today, remind yourself: “It is finished.”
Day 4: He Is Risen
Scripture: Matthew 28:6
Teaching Point: The empty tomb proves that Jesus defeated sin and death—He is alive, just as He promised.
Reflection Question: How would your life look different if you fully lived like Jesus is alive today?
Challenge: Share the truth “Jesus is alive” with at least one person today—through a conversation, text, or invite.
Day 5: Living in the Reality of the Resurrection
Scripture: John 20:19
Teaching Point: The resurrection transforms fear into boldness and gives us peace, purpose, and hope.
Reflection Question: What fear, doubt, or struggle do you need to surrender to the risen Jesus?
Challenge: Take one bold step today—invite someone to church, pray out loud, or share your faith story.
