5-Day Devotional: Honest Questions, Deeper Faith
Day 1: It’s Okay to Ask
Scripture: James 1:5
Teaching Point: God isn’t afraid of your questions—He invites them. Asking honestly is the beginning of a deeper, real faith.
Reflection Question: What’s one question about God or faith you’ve been hesitant to ask?
Challenge: Write down one honest question you have about faith and bring it to God in prayer today.
Day 2: Doubt Isn’t the Enemy
Scripture: John 20:24–25
Teaching Point: Doubt doesn’t mean your faith is failing—it often means your faith matters enough to wrestle with.
Reflection Question: When have you experienced doubt, and how did it affect your faith?
Challenge: Instead of ignoring your doubts today, acknowledge one and choose to lean in rather than pull away.
Day 3: Jesus Meets You There
Scripture: John 20:26–27
Teaching Point: Jesus meets you right in the middle of your uncertainty—He doesn’t shame you, He draws near.
Reflection Question: How does it change your perspective knowing Jesus meets you in your doubt?
Challenge: Be honest with God today—tell Him exactly where you’re struggling or unsure.
Day 4: Stay in the Room
Scripture: John 20:26
Teaching Point: Thomas didn’t walk away—he stayed. Showing up, even with doubt, positions you to encounter Jesus.
Reflection Question: What does “staying” look like for you in this season of your faith?
Challenge: Commit to showing up this week—read your Bible, pray, or come to church/youth group even if you don’t feel 100% sure.
Day 5: From Doubt to Declaration
Scripture: John 20:28
Teaching Point: When you wrestle honestly, your faith becomes personal—what starts as doubt can lead to deep conviction.
Reflection Question: What would it look like for your faith to become more personal and real?
Challenge: Pray this simple prayer today: “God, I believe—help my unbelief,” and take one step toward trusting Him more.
